Application development
For a solution suited to material processing needs, complex environmental configurations such as jig systems, dust collection and cooling devices for proper placement and fixation of materials must be established. Testing and inspection processes are carried out with a variety of instruments and devices at our disposal to meet both process quality stability and operator accessibility.
Features
Requirements analysis
Determining the performance of manufacturing facilities, including laser systems, and customer satisfaction is the correct analysis of requirements and the definition of specifications based on needs. K2 assigns personnel dedicated to each customer and strives to uncover even the parts that the customer was unaware of.
Process development
In order to meet the unique requirements of customers and increase added value, improvements and changes to existing applications must be carried out in parallel. K2 will provide optimized solutions to customers without settling for existing standard methods and approaches.
jig design
A jig system that combines basic but advanced functional elements such as airflow, decontamination, and heat control is a very important part of the laser process. K2 performs its own design not only for jigs optimized for specific processes, but also for multi-purpose jigs that take versatility into consideration.
Autopsy detection
The detection and identification of processing abnormalities and trends is an essential process not only to increase material yield but also to ensure the safety of finished products. K2 takes into account the level of quality required by the customer and analyzes various sensor data such as temperature and pressure, or performs quality monitoring with a vision camera or non-destructive welding inspection such as OCT.
Competence
Domain knowledge
Since most customers run their own legacy systems, a radical transition to a new system is difficult. With deep domain knowledge in various industries, K2 not only improves legacy systems, but also gradually integrates with new solutions.
Prior research
K2 has overcome the limitations of processes and efficiency faced by existing industrial facilities through continuous industry-academia cooperation and national policy tasks. Through continuous research and development, we are not only upgrading existing processes but also creating measures that meet diversified customer requirements.
Specialized technology
K2 holds patents for major applications such as laser welding for STATOR cores and large area 3D marking. In addition, we have completed the internalization of special functions that maximize process efficiency, such as OCT, vision stitching, and FLY.
Customer engagement
For customers who lack experience in laser processing and optical configuration or are not equipped with related facilities, K2's process development laboratory has various types of equipment and samples. K2 will work together to help customers understand and lead to effective solution development.
